Alpacas of the Morning Mist

Alpacas of the Morning Mist was started in 2006.  As retirees, we began raising alpacas because we fell in love with the life style and worthwhile investment that alpacas offer.  We have a colorful herd of 22 beautiful animals.  Many of our males are award winners.  Come for a visit and pick out the color you want to take home.

Morning Mist's Pecos Bill

Pecos Bill is a true black male that has the finest fiber on the farm.  It has that "buttery" feel - it is just so soft!  First time out his fiber won awards at 2 different spin-off shows. 

He has the fleece, the presence, the coverage and that perfect Huacaya head.  He has produced maginificently colored crias, including true black, dark fawn and dark rose grey.
