Rivanna River Farm and Fiber Studio was established in August of
2002. We have a small herd of 27 Elite Quality Huacaya alpacas in white and color.
We now have 6 Champions
in our herd (we recently sold our 7th Champion). Our Herdsires are all Champions or Blue Ribbon winners at AOBA certified
shows of level 3-5. Our animals are tested yearly for quality control. No animal on our farm has an average
fiber diameter (micron) of over 27, including females aged 8 years. We breed for fine fiber which we
design into specialty yarns or hand dye here in our Fiber Studio.
Plan a farm and studio visit
soon. Spring babies are due February thru April. Fiber enthusiasts welcome!!
We pride ourselves
on customer service and support. Your Success is Our Success.
